Scanner

Met een scanner kunt u documenten, foto’s en tekeningen digitaliseren. Vervolgens kunt u ze opslaan, bewerken, printen of doorsturen. De meeste scanners sluit u aan op een stopcontact en verbind u via een USB kabel met uw computer. Er bestaan ook draadloze (WiFi) scanners.

De resolutie

Eén van de zaken die u tegenkomt als u gaat scannen is de resolutie, uitgedrukt in dots per inch (DPI). Hoe hoger de DPI, hoe scherper de scan, wat van belang is wanneer u de scan wilt afdrukken.
